Hi! My name is Mandy and I am the teacher for the 4/5 year old group.

I have been teaching since 1990, and have taught in pre-schools all around Melbourne as well as in the country and overseas.

I have been the pre-school teacher at Glendal Pre-school since 2006. In 2007, I was reclassified as an exemplary teacher.

I believe the pre-school year is a very important and special year in each child’s life, and together with Julie, my assistant, we hope you have a wonderful learning adventure with us.

Hi, my name is Dianne and I am the teacher for the 3 year old group.

This is my first year teaching at Glendal Pre-School but like Mandy, I have been teaching since 1990 with both 3 & 4 year old groups. I took some time out to have my two children and have been back teaching since 2008.

Kindergarten is a wonderful place where children learn primarily though play. I thoroughly enjoy providing many interesting experiences and spaces for them to explore. Janice and I hope that you and your children enjoy your year with us.

Welcome to our lovely kinder everyone. To those of you who don’t already know me, my name is Julie and I have been the Assistant in the 3 and 4 year old groups since 1999 and I am now working solely with the 4 year old group.

I have a Diploma in Children’s Services.

My name is Janice Stevens and in 2010 I commenced as the permanent Assistant for the 3 year old group.

I started work at East Burwood Pre-School in 2006, and have worked previously at Glendal as an Assistant to Mandy whilst Julie was studying in 2009.

Before I started working in 2006, I was a "stay at home” Mum. I am married to Peter and we have two sons James and Phillip. When Phillip was in 3 Year old Pre-School I was the voluntary Assistant for a year at Mount Waverley Pre-School. I was also a voluntary Parent Helper for 9 years while both boys were at Mount Waverley Primary School. I enjoy working with children.
